6th Annual Asian MICE Forum Returns November 3-4, 2011
Asia’s eye-catching MICE event, the Asian MICE Forum 2011 (AMF 2011), will soon take place during November 3-4 in the Taipei International Convention Center (TICC). Focusing on “Green MICE” and “Crisis & Security Management”, AMF 2011 will continue its mission of revealing Asia’s MICE latest trends. The Forum will include 1 CEO Discussion, 3 keynote speeches, and 5 panel discussions to sketch the most updated view of the Asian MICE industry.
MICE CEOs to Share Vision of MICE Future
AMF 2011 has invited Dr. Peter Neven, Managing Director of the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA), Mr. Jime Essink, President and CEO of UBM Asia, and Mr. Walter Yeh, Executive Vice President of the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) to present new strategies and ideas for organizing international events. In addition, the President of Messe Frankfurt, Mr. Kai Hattendorf, will share his successful experience of “Utilizing Social Media for MICE Promotion”.
Co-Founder of the Green Meeting Industry Council, Ms. Amy Spatrisano, will introduce new, and currently in practice, environment-friendly methods, and the Chairman of Fiera Milano SpA, Mr. Michele Perini, will share his successful experiences in Milan.
Uncover the Industry’s New Blue Ocean
More experts, two from authoritative MICE organizations - the Global Association of Exhibition Industry (UFI) and the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA), will share their insights of the latest Asian MICE Industry trends. Most importantly, professionals from Japan, Korea, Singapore, and Hong Kong will also offer their viewpoints during this meaningful event. With their valuable input, it will boost Taiwan’s MICE business and stimulate business opportunities among Asia’s MICE industry.
Other hot topics on the agenda are “Taiwan MICE Industry in Asia -- The Niche”, “Green MICE Promotion”, and “Crisis Management and Security Management”. As for Cross-Strait issues, we will cover the increasing challenges for professional MICE education in Taiwan and China, in addition to how to create more business opportunities in the Post-ECFA era so that cooperation across the Strait among those in the MICE industry can be gradually strengthened.
During the same time as the Forum, the Taiwan Exhibition & Convention Industry Show will be held in the TWTC Exhibition Hall 1. All MICE-related professionals are invited to join the show to exchange views, experiences, and resources.
The AMF, a collection of MICE leaders from Europe, America, and Asia-Pacific, is the regional industry’s annual event. Last year it attracted nearly 800 participants. To take part in this year’s Forum, please register on the website: www.amf.com.tw
